I can't sign up! I keep getting some sort of error when I try to

Most of the time, this is a temporary problem. If the infantry servers are down, the sign-up probably is too. Just keep trying every hour or so.

If it's consistent, set your browser to accept cookies (In Internet Explorer, use 'tools' then 'Internet Options', 'Security', 'Custom Levels' and enable the cookies)

Or try Netscape. That seems to work more often for some reason in my cases....

Your zone list may be outdated, and the refreshing doesn't know where to look. Find a file in your infantry directory called 'zone.cfg' and open it up. Delete everything in it (if there is anything) and copy the following:

"Beta Test","216.52.248.218",2350,1,0,"Test of a medium sized map flag game with classes. Upon entering the game you should select a skill class from the ESC menu."
"Alpha Zone","216.52.248.218",2360,1,0,"A simple run and kill zone. For newbies to get used to the game."
"Twin Peaks","216.52.248.218",2412,1,0,"Infantry CTF. Capture the flags!"

Then save it. It should work.
